A Digital Product Passport is a public page, reached by a QR code on the product, that tells buyers, repairers and recyclers what a product is made of, how to use and repair it, and how to dispose of it. Battery passports are required from 18 February 2027 for LMT batteries (e-bikes, e-scooters), EV batteries and industrial batteries above 2 kWh. Textiles, furniture, iron and steel, tyres and other groups follow as the EU adopts delegated acts under ESPR.
