Battery passports are needed per battery, not per product model. The Pro add-on creates unit passports under a product passport: each gets its own passport ID, page and QR code, shows the product passport’s data and adds its own serial number, batch and date of manufacture.
- Serial numbers: choose how many, a prefix, the first number and the number of digits, for example
VB36-1025onwards. Duplicates are skipped. Runs of more than 200 continue in the background with Action Scheduler, up to 10,000 at a time. - One batch: one passport for a production batch with its batch number and date.
- Units follow the draft or published status of their product passport and are deleted with it.
- With GS1 Digital Link, unit QR codes hold
/01/{GTIN}/21/{serial}or/01/{GTIN}/10/{batch}, and the store forwards them to the unit’s page. - Download a CSV of all units with their addresses and QR content, or print them as QR labels.
