Features
Group deal on any product. Simple and variable products, from a Group deal tab on the product screen.
Target and deadline. Count buyers or items sold. End on a date and time, or a number of days after the first buyer joins. Optional maximum to cap the deal.
One deal price. A fixed price or a percent off the regular price. Shoppers see both prices side by side.
Progress bar and countdown. “7 of 10 joined”, a progress bar and the time left, above the add to cart button in classic and block themes. Numbers refresh on cached pages.
Join at checkout. Buyers pay the deal price through your normal checkout, as a guest or logged in. Works with the Cart and Checkout blocks and the classic checkout.
Share buttons. WhatsApp, Facebook, X, email and copy link on the product page, the thank you page and the joined email. Plain links, no tracking scripts.
Unlock when the target is reached. Orders wait in a new Awaiting group status, then move to Processing and every buyer gets a Deal unlocked email.
Automatic cancel and refund. If the deal fails, deal lines are refunded through the gateway when it supports refunds, including shipping when the whole order was the deal. Cash on delivery orders are simply cancelled. Anything else is listed for a manual refund with a clear admin notice.
Stock handling. Stock is reserved while orders wait, or taken off only when the deal unlocks. Refunds put stock back.
Group deals screen. Every deal with joined count, target, deadline and status, plus Unlock now and Cancel deal buttons, and the list of refunds to send by hand.
Six emails. Joined, unlocked, did not unlock and refund sent for buyers, unlocked and failed for the store. Built on WooCommerce emails, so they use your email template and can be edited or turned off.
Shop badge and deals list. A Group deal badge on shop pages, plus a shortcode and block that list every running deal.
My Account tab. Logged in buyers see the deals they joined and their status.
Fair by default. Only paid orders count. One join per email address unless you allow more. A lock stops two last minute checkouts from passing the cap.
New rounds. When a deal ends, set a new date and run it again from zero.
Blocks and shortcodes
Blocks: Group deal (the deal box) and Group deals (a grid of running deals).
Shortcodes: [wfgb_deal id="123"] for the deal box, [wfgb_deals limit="6" columns="3"] for the list.
Works with
The Cart and Checkout blocks and the classic cart and checkout.
Block themes and classic themes.
High Performance Order Storage (HPOS) and the legacy order storage.
Payment methods that support refunds, such as WooCommerce Stripe and WooCommerce PayPal Payments, for automatic refunds.
Only in Pro Pro
Tiered prices by group size. For example 10 buyers: $80, 20 buyers: $70. The product page shows a price ladder and how many more are needed for the next price.
Best price for everyone. When the deal ends, every buyer pays the lowest price reached. Anyone who paid more gets the difference refunded automatically, and a Tier reached email when the price drops.
Authorize now, charge on unlock. With the WooCommerce Stripe Gateway the card is only authorized at checkout and charged when the deal unlocks. A failed deal releases the hold, so nothing needs a refund. Deals longer than a card hold lasts take payment now.
Deposit now, balance later. Buyers pay a percent or fixed deposit. When the deal unlocks they get a balance order with a payment link and a due date, and their order ships once it is paid. Overdue balances get a reminder.
Private groups. A shopper starts their own group of a set size from the product page and invites friends with a personal link. Each group unlocks on its own when it is full, or is refunded if it does not fill up in time. Open groups are listed on the product page for others to join.
Leader rewards. The leader (first buyer, or whoever started a private group) and/or the buyer whose link brought the most others gets a single use coupon: store credit, a percent off, or a free extra item.
WhatsApp first sharing. An editable WhatsApp message with live progress, WhatsApp shown first and largest, and personal referral links from the thank you page and emails.
Reminder emails. An almost there email when only a few more buyers are needed, and a reminder a set time before the deadline.
Category rules. Run group deals on whole categories at once, with a schedule and role limits.
Reports. Unlock rate, buyers per deal, revenue, refunds, top sharers and share link clicks, with CSV export.
Abuse limits. Limit joins per person, matched by email (Gmail dots and plus tags ignored), phone, account and shipping address.
Recurring deals. Restart a deal automatically when it ends, for weekly group orders.
Waitlist. When a deal is full or over, shoppers leave their email and hear when the next round opens.
Six more emails, all editable under WooCommerce, Settings, Emails.
