Some gifts are too expensive for one guest. With group gifting several guests chip in any amount toward one item. A progress bar shows how much is raised. When one piece is fully paid, an order for it is made automatically, already paid, with the host’s gift address, and it goes through your normal shipping.
How it works
- Choose which items take contributions under Pro: gifting: every item from a price, or only products where you tick Group gifting.
- Guests enter an amount and pay at the normal checkout, so every payment method works.
- When the money for one piece is in, the order for the host is made. Any extra is kept for the next piece.
- The host and every guest who chipped in get the Group gift funded email.
The target is the price guests pay, with tax. If your shop shows prices without tax, the card says (price with tax). While money is being collected for the last piece, nobody can also buy it whole.
