- Install and activate Easy Gift Registry for WooCommerce from wordpress.org.
- For Pro, upload
wolfiz-gift-registry-pro.zipunder Plugins, Add New and activate it. It needs the free plugin. - Pro adds four Pro sections to WooCommerce, Settings, Gift Registry, and WooCommerce, Registry reports.

Privacy
Neither plugin calls external services or tracks visitors. Registry data, contributions, reservations and guest lists appear in the WordPress personal data export and erase tools, and both plugins add text to your privacy policy guide. Erasing keeps money records for your books, without the person’s name or email.
FAQ
Do guests need an account? No. Only hosts need an account. Guests buy as guests or customers, as your store allows.
Can a guest see the host’s address? No. Guests see the city and country only, also in the Store API, emails and their account. The address is copied to the order on the server.
What counts as bought? Orders in the statuses you choose, processing and completed by default. Refunds, cancellations and deleted orders put gifts back.
How do contributions reach the checkout? A hidden virtual product named Gift registry contribution carries each contribution, with the guest’s amount as its price. Keep it published and hidden.
What happens to my data if I remove the plugin? Registries are kept unless you turn on Remove data on uninstall before deleting the plugin. Pro removes its own data under the same setting.
For developers: the free plugin has filters and actions for every step, listed in its readme, for example wfgr_item, wfgr_account_tabs and wfgr_gifts_bought. Pro adds wfgrp_group_eligible, wfgrp_group_funded and wfgrp_payout.
