Store credit bonus. Offer for example 10% extra when the customer picks store credit. The form says so next to the choice.
Fees. A flat or percent return fee and a restocking fee come off refunds. Choose reasons that are free of fees, such as damaged or wrong item. Fees are never charged on exchanges, store credit or EU withdrawals. The customer sees them on the summary screen before sending.
Keep the item. For low value items, the request is refunded on approval, with nothing sent back and no restock. Set a value limit, or mark products in the Inventory tab.
