A request is approved at once when it fits every condition of a rule: reasons, categories, products, order value, the most past returns in 12 months and the fewest orders. Everything else stays for manual review. The history and the request show which rule approved it.
Fraud controls limit returns per customer per period, block emails, require photos above an order value and flag customers above a return rate. Flagged requests get a badge and never auto approve. All of this applies to returns and warranty claims. EU withdrawals are a legal right and are never limited.
