A group deal gives a product a lower price that only unlocks when enough people buy it before a deadline. Every buyer has a reason to share the link, so your customers do the marketing. Buyers pay the deal price at checkout. Their order waits until the group is complete, then ships. If the deadline passes below the target, the plugin cancels the orders and refunds the buyers through the payment method.
