The Order a sample button sits next to Add to cart, with the sample price on it. It posts the same form, so the chosen variation goes with it. On variable products the button waits until a colour or finish is chosen, and hides for variations without samples. Products that are out of stock can still send samples.
Sample lines carry a Sample label in the mini cart, cart and checkout, and the most of one sample is enforced in the quantity field. Place the button anywhere else with the [wfps_sample_button id="123"] shortcode or the Order a sample button block.
