Privacy
The plugin marks sample lines on orders. With a per customer limit, past sample orders are counted by account and billing email. Pro abuse protection stores hashed fingerprints of the address, phone and IP on free sample orders. Nothing is sent to outside services.
FAQ
Do I need sample products? No. The sample is the real product with a Sample flag on the cart line.
Do samples reduce stock? No. Use Count sample stock to limit samples separately.
Can samples be free? Yes, free is the default. Pro can also make samples free above a cart total or give one free sample with every full order.
Is sample credit given for free samples? No, credit gives back what was paid. Follow up emails can still carry a coupon.
