Each chosen answer adds its points to every product it recommends. Products are ranked by total points. When points are equal, your chosen tie rule decides: best seller, lowest price or highest price.
An example
Tight and dry (3 points) recommends the attribute term Dry. Fine lines (2 points) recommends the term Fine lines. Fragrance free (2 points) recommends the tag Fragrance free. A serum tagged all three scores 7 and is shown first. A cream with only the first two scores 5.
- Products hidden from the catalogue are never shown. Out of stock products are skipped unless you turn that off.
- Stock is read live each time. Scores are cached per set of answers for an hour, and saving a product or a quiz clears them.
- Each mapped term reads at most 500 products, which keeps large catalogues fast. The filter
wfpq_candidate_capchanges this.
If an attribute term does not show in the search, check that it exists under Products, Attributes. Attributes must be global, not typed on one product, to be mapped.
